#9 Baroque Violin C. Kleynman Amsterdam c.1660
Very fine example of this maker’s work showing Italian Amatisé influences due to his step-father Francis Lupo and typically Dutch features such as the whale-bone purfling. Particularly indicated for a Baroque use, for which the present set-up is ideal.
Bodylength 351, width 162 – 104 – 200, stop 197 mm.
